The Ceremony

A wedding ceremony DJ is imperative. They provide the music for your ceremony, and ensure that it runs smoothly and flawlessly.

We use state-of-the-art sound systems for weddings, plan background music as guests arrive, processional and recessional music, and provide two lavalier microphones and one handheld microphone. Our Ceremony Planner Worksheet (available online or as a pdf) will help to organize the four parts of your ceremony—Prelude, Processional, Interlude, and Recessional. Once your detailed Ceremony Planner form is complete, your wedding DJ will coordinate your entire ceremony—from the music to the timing.

You and your DJ will work together to complete our detailed Ceremony Planner, which will ensure that your music runs smoothly on your wedding day.

The Reception

When you choose DNA Entertainment, you are choosing more than just great music. Our DJs act as your Master of Ceremonies (MC) and coordinate every aspect of your reception to ensure it runs smoothly – from the cocktail hour to the grand exit. We’ll provide you with our Reception Planner Worksheet, which will plan all aspects of your reception (Cocktail Hour, Grand Entrance, Wedding Toast, Dinner, Traditional Dances / Events, and Dancing). Once your detailed Reception Planner is complete, your wedding DJ will coordinate your entire reception to ensure it is flawless. This means that you can relax and enjoy your special day without having to worry about a thing! Our base package includes a state of the art sound system including DJ Booth, Speakers, Wireless Microphone, and Lighting. Our DJs are experienced in Bar and Bat Mitzvah ceremonies and understand the importance of this day for your son or daughter. They will be energetic and fun, encouraging kids to dance and interact.
